- I'm a mom of five girls who recently decided that blogging can count as journaling, as long as I make a hard copy of it. After all, the purpose of journaling is for future generations right? Without a hard copy its just thoughts floating around in cyberspace.

Reasons to Get Fit
- I've got something sassy for Valentine's Day hiding in my closet.
- Stuart's high school reunion.
- So I can zip up my boots without all the acrobatics.
- My boots aren't suppose to slouch, and I'd like it if they didn't anymore.
- I don't want my kids to think that running away from me will do them any good.
- Wouldn't it be fun to put on my wedding dress again?
- I wear a size 11 ring! Who wears a size 11?!
- The hot pink shirt in my closet.
- We're getting together with old high school friends this Summer.
- Three words: ward pool party.
- My baby brother is dropping pounds at basic training. I'd like to have a few gone myself when he comes home.
- My brother's wedding reception is coming up.
- For some reason my husband wants to see me naked.
- I need all the endorphins I can get.
- For confidence.
- Madilyn told me she wasn't going to be a fat mommy when she grows up.
- I hate feeling like an over bloated cow.
- I saw a "26.2" sticker on a car window the other day and kind of wished I had one.
- So I can cross my legs gracefully.
- I'll get to wear the clothes that have been sitting in my closet for several years now.
- My almost 6 year-old started calling me "Big Mama".
- My five year old has started poking my stomach.
- I'd like my shadow to have a better shape.
- I wasted my pretty years being fat. Now that they're past I'd like to have a shot at stylish and sophisticated.
- So my chest will stick out further than my stomach for a change.
- To spare my joints any more time being overloaded.
- I'd like to walk up to the church and like what I see in the door's reflection.
- So I can find my ribs again.
- I'd like a jawline.
- My husband and I haven't had pictures taken together since our wedding. It'd be nice to be thin enough that I'm willing to pose for the camera.
- I had set a goal to be skinny by 30, but ended up pregnant that year. Now I'm hoping to get the weight off before I turn 31.
- Maybe I'll feel like doing things again.
- I'm tired of anything with an elastic waist band riding up to find the smallest possible section of my midriff giving me major wedgies.
- I want to be thin before I'm too old for my skin to snap back once the weight is gone.
- Maybe I can get rid of some of the pills I'm taking.
- I haven't worn lingere in forever.
- My kids have started making comments about me being fat.
- If I have another baby I'd like a shot at being "cute pregnant".
- I'm tired of seeing my stomach lie on my lap.
- I want awesome, visable collar bones.
- I have elephant knees.
- I hate the sound of my legs rubbing together when I walk.
- To feel better about me!
- So shopping will be fun again.
- I don't like wearing belts. They're uncomfortable.
- Belts only look good on people who don't need them.
- Maintaining a healthy lifestyle coincides with the Word of Wisdom.
- I know I'd be happier in a smaller size.
- My skin looks better when I exercise.
- Shorts don't look good on fat chicks.
- Neither do capris.
- Or anything for that matter.
- I'm tired of shopping in fat girls stores.
- I'd like to ride a motorcycle. Fat chicks just don't look as good on a bike.
- I'd like to learn how to ski some day.
- I want to run a 5k.
- One chin is plenty for anyone.
- I have an unsightly double bum.
- I hate feeling my back wiggle when I stir something or use the salt and pepper.
- I'm tired of looking like I have double decker boobs.
- I don't like my face jiggling when I scrub dishes.
- I'm afraid of diabetes.
- My 53 year old mother walks faster than me.
- I live in mountain country and never hike.
- To look like I belong in a sports car.
- So I can take my kids swimming.
- I'd like to play with my kids instead of watching them.
- I'd like to go to the Bahamas some day. When I do I want to look like I belong on the beach and not in the ocean.
- I want to be a runner.
- To feel touchable.
- I'm tired of having a chinest (chin+neck+chest).
- To be a better example for my daughters.
- I'm not afraid of dying young. I'm afraid of living forever, incapable of anything but sitting in front of the television.
